Yikes My Very First Makeup Tutorial

Check out my very first makeup tutorial I know there are loads of girls on youtube who do makeup video's but I've always wanted to do a few myself and thus tossed my hat in the ring.

It's weird I usually create amazing (or I think so) looks when no one's around but as soon as I'm sitting in front of a camera I freeze which I really need to get over. I know that through making these video's I'll be able to express myself more and become more confident which is sorely lacking in my life at the moment.

 Random Small post before I cut my nails to their original state I did this awesome print on my nails, the thing about me and my nails is that I get bored of whatever I painted on my nails easily lets just say that this disappeared within the next few hours.

So this was my Christmas outfit, these are my first pair of shorts believe it or not. I had some serious body issues in the past and am slowly getting over it so purchasing these shorts was a huge milestone for me. The shorts are super comfortable which is a plus but the heels seriously kill my feet.

2011 in 2012 Part 1

This is a really late post but I thought better late than never right? Okay for Christmas every year we do secret santa you know pull a name from the hat etc we also get a certain amount of moola to spend on a gift. It's fun trying to guess who has your name and what they got you. I got an awesome watch fell in love but my heart got broken later when I found that the watch was defective long story short I don't have the watch anymore sad but true.

I wanted something more personal for Xmas so I thought about adding fortune cookies as part of our delicious lunch and that is what mine said. I know my sister will get mad at me for this but she got that gorgeous ring from her bf hidden meaning much? Kidding

Hi everyone hope you're all doing well

I thought I'd share a little bit of my day with you all, I went to my very first hair styling workshop. The workshop was four and a half hours for R100!!! Can you believe it? I can't believe I spent so little to learn something they also provided food which was awesome. I feel weird about the whole experience probably because I've never been to one before, wished they could've shown some runway looks though.




Instead of telling you guys word for word what went on during the workshop I thought I'd post photo's of what I learnt.

WARNING PHOTO'S ARE OF REALLY CRAPPY QUALITY!! And that's because I took it with my cell phone gomennasai minna.

The whole hairstyling thing got me thinking about studying hairdressing but after going to that workshop I realized that I don't want to be a hairdresser but I at least want to know how to style hair for photo shoots, weddings etc. I want to be an amazing Makeup Artist and I believe that this is the stepping to stone to an amazing opportunity and a step closer to reaching my dreams.



Things I learnt today: To always keep my eyes and ears open, to learn new things, to keep persevering and to never let any opportunities slip by.



I know that through time I'll become everything I want/wish/hope/dream to be.

I gave it some serious thought and I still have no idea what this blog will be about, I can't make it about anything specific because I have to many interests and I like a lot of things. So i guess this blog will be about me and the things I like take it or leave it I guess. Yikes! this is going to be interesting...

*Sigh* That aside I wanted to share items I recently purchased, I have been dying to update my wardrobe but had no idea what to buy but when I saw these and had to get them, I realized recently that I actually don't like shopping why?It's depressing! Here are a few reasons why:

1. I can never find a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly
2. I can never find a pair of heels or flats in my size
3. I swear that all the stores in South Africa don't make jackets or coats in my size
4. I always and up just buying accessories or makeup and realize that I need clothes when I get home

Instead of shopping for clothing I think it's be best if I just bought a couple of box sets of anime I'm thinking Eureka Seven...maybe?
